Prevent ticks in your backyard.
When you find a tick attached, remove it immediately.
What to do with your tick?
- Kill it and get rid of it. Be aware ticks float thus flushing them down the toilet or sink might not be successful in one go.
- Send a picture of the tick or the tick in for identification. Or, if you desire, you can submit it for pathogen testing. (Tick identification and testing services)
